THE CONCEPT

Anamcara is an exceptional Fruity-Floral-Woody composition based on precious natural ingredients. Its name means “soul friend” in Gaelic, a person to whom one would turn for life advice and spiritual guidance; our idea was to create a fragrance that would unite people in spite of borders and barriers, gracefully radiating aesthetic pleasure, emotional bliss, and clarity of mind.

MY THOUGHTS

This perfume is characterized by its fruity sweetness. While it is sweet, it is not gourmand-like, but rather a mature scent reminiscent of drinking fruit tea. The peach and apricot notes add a delightful touch. It’s not a fresh scent, but one of fully ripened sweetness.

Additionally, the woody base notes of patchouli, vetiver, and cedarwood complement the tea fragrance beautifully. These notes help to temper the sweetness and extend the longevity of the scent, allowing you to enjoy it for several hours (about 4 hours) even in the sweltering summer heat of Bangkok, which was quite a pleasant surprise.

The only drawback is that the scent is so well-blended that the crisp top notes, such as blood orange, are not very noticeable on either a blotter or my skin. This may require a bit more testing to fully understand.

ANAMCARA is a fruity and woody fragrance that even those who are not fond of sweet scents can enjoy. If you like tea-based fragrances, I highly recommend giving this one a try.
