Ha Long Bay, Vietnam. Water is everywhere. Beneath the junks slowly breaking the surface of the sea, in the humid air, and in the distance, in the rain approaching with the monsoon. In each of its forms, water carries the scents of the surrounding nature.

THOUGHTS

Pluie Sur Ha Long is inspired by the tranquil majesty of Vietnam’s Ha Long Bay, yet the impression it creates on my skin leans toward something more intimate and serene — a quiet pond filled with blooming lotus flowers, their pale petals floating effortlessly across a mirror-like surface. It is a fragrance shaped by water, light, and a natural sense of purity.

The opening is dominated by the lush sweetness of Nashi pear, paired with the vivid green crispness of rhubarb. Together, they form a bright green-fruity accord that feels almost startlingly realistic: the juicy, translucent quality of the pear comes through clearly, while the rhubarb adds an elegant bitterness and a slightly herbaceous edge. The result is refreshing without being sharp — a clean, watery fruitiness that feels like morning air settling over a still pond.
