CONCEPT

LETHE tells a classic but modern story about the luxury of simplicity. Its name comes from the Greek mythological river, LETHE, known for its potency to forget when sipped. In unbalanced times, we look to escape the world at large and focus on the comfort and warmth of love. Like the river, one spritz of LETHE, and the scent allows you to fall safely into oblivion.

LETHE opens up to the brightness of Bergamot thoughtfully blended with the herbaceous clean of Lavender providing calm and balance. Tantalizing notes of airy Water Lily and creamy Cashmere Woods anchor the fragrance with an enveloping warmth. Musk, Amber and Vanilla round out this clean and sensual fragrance that is pure, warm and timeless.

THOUGHTS

Lethe is a comforting fragrance that evokes the warm, gentle feeling of a hug. Its soft and soothing character creates a sense of calm and relaxation.

The fragrance opens with fresh notes of bergamot and lavender. The lavender is not sharp or herbal, but rather reminiscent of relaxing essential oils used in aromatherapy, giving a calming and gentle impression.

After a while, the creamy warmth of cashmere wood begins to emerge. However, the presence of water lily in the heart notes keeps the fragrance from becoming heavy, adding a touch of transparency and freshness that balances the composition beautifully.

In the drydown, vanilla, amber, and tonka bean leave a warm and softly sweet trail on the skin. The sweetness is gentle and never overwhelming, making it suitable for both warm summer days and cold winter weather.

Although not listed in the official notes, on my skin the tonka bean and amber blend together to create a subtle spice reminiscent of cinnamon. Lethe is a fragrance that combines warmth and transparency, gently wrapping the wearer in a soft and comforting aura.
