THE CONCEPT
“Aerapata,” is one of the primary four Thai naga families, boasting green scales reminiscent of the finest emerald. It resides in close proximity to humans, thus prompting numerous Thai legends recounting instances of the Aerapata naga forming connections with humans. Often thought to hatch from eggs, this naga species inhabits rivers closely linked to vast forests. It possesses the highest population among all naga species and usually manifests as single-headed beings. However, through the cultivation of virtues, they attain magnificence, leading to the emergence of multi-headed forms.
Motivated by a profound captivation with the narratives of the Thai naga lineage and literature, we embark on the creation of a fragrance that encapsulates the essence of each naga species. This fragrance endeavors to capture the lush, verdant, and humid rainforest landscape, where a profusion of trees is shrouded in a dense cover of moss. At the heart of this forest lies a vast pond, its surface adorned with water ferns—an environment that serves as the dwelling of the Aerapata naga.
In creating this fragrance, we have chosen the Oakmoss scent as the foundation, for its intricate green notes, complemented by an earthy undertone. It seamlessly blends with Indian Patchouli, forming the central axis to articulate the landscape of this forest. Furthermore, essences of Hyacinth, Petitgrain, and Bergamot enhance the vibrancy as they open the olfactory journey. Orris is added to intensify the distinct characteristics of the core scent and to reinforce the moisture, replicating the rich, vibrant greenery of this lush rainforest.

MY THOUGHTS
This is a very intense and unique perfume. It has a green woody scent but is made very refreshing by the bergamot. The top notes of hyacinth and petitgrain represent the unique greenery of a tropical rainforest, but the refreshing note of bergamot adds a touch of spice, so it doesn’t have an overly damp green smell. The heart note of oakmoss represents the soil that forms the foundation of the rainforest. However, on my skin, jasmine and iris beautifully emerge, harmonizing with the oakmoss to represent the flowers of the rainforest.
This perfume smells completely different on a scent strip and on the skin. On my skin, although there’s no orange note, the green and citrus scents blend beautifully, making it feel like I’m in a bright tropical rainforest. However, on a scent strip, the soil scent is vivid, reminiscent of the smell of the earth after the rain.
I recommend it for those who like green scents, but it’s not a fragrance that appeals to everyone, so it’s best to try a sample first.
