Luisant Haze is a fruity, sweet gourmand fragrance that is surprisingly fresh and airy, making it a scent that could easily be worn throughout the year.

When I first tried Luisant Haze, I found it rather sweet and initially felt hesitant about wearing it. However, revisiting it after some time, I realized that its sweetness was far from the dense, cloying sweetness of a sugary confection.

The fragrance opens with the rich, juicy sweetness of Fraise des Bois (wild strawberry), while pink pepper adds a light, sparkling spiciness that keeps the sweetness in check. Interestingly, I find the fragrance noticeably sweeter on a blotter than on my skin, where it feels much more balanced and refreshing.

As the fragrance develops, the spicy warmth of cardamom emerges alongside sweet creamy tuberose and cotton candy, creating an addictive interplay of sweetness and spice. On my skin, perhaps amplified by the warm weather, cardamom stands out particularly prominently, adding a distinctive spicy accent to the sweet floral notes.

Given the presence of cotton candy, I had expected an intensely sugary, almost sticky sweetness. Instead, the sweetness feels remarkably natural and translucent, revealing a more nuanced interpretation of gourmand perfumery—one that feels distinctly Thomas De Monaco.

The heart notes also linger beautifully on my skin. What initially struck me as a fragrance I might not enjoy has gradually become surprisingly addictive. I find myself repeatedly bringing my wrist to my nose, drawn back to its intriguing blend of sweetness, florals, and spice.

The dry-down does not depart dramatically from the heart, but gradually introduces the warm, enveloping nuances of saffron, white musk, and amber. These notes settle gently into the skin, adding warmth and depth while preserving the fragrance’s overall character.

Luisant Hazeは、フルーティーで甘いグルマン香水でありながら、意外にも軽やかでさっぱりとした印象を持ち、オールシーズン楽しめそうな香水です。

初めて纏ったときは、思っていた以上に甘さが強く感じられ、少し苦手な香りだと思っていました。しかし、久しぶりに改めて香りを試してみると、単に甘いだけではなく、お菓子のように重たく、べったりとした甘さとは異なることに気がつきました。

トップでは、Fraise des Bois（野いちご）の芳醇でジューシーな甘みが広がります。そこにピンクペッパーが軽やかな刺激を添えることで、甘さがほどよく引き締まり、フレッシュな印象に仕上がっています。興味深いことに、私の場合は肌に纏ったときよりもムエットの方が甘さを強く感じました。

やがて、カルダモンのスパイシーな香りに、スイートチュベローズとコットンキャンディーの甘く魅惑的な香りが重なっていきます。私の肌では、暑さの影響もあるのか、カルダモンが特に際立って感じられ、甘くてクリーミーなフローラルノートに心地よいアクセントを加えています。

コットンキャンディーが使われていると知り、最初は、砂糖菓子のような濃厚でべったりとした甘さを想像していました。しかし、実際には驚くほど自然で透明感のある甘さです。甘さを前面に押し出すのではなく、スパイスやフローラルノートと調和させることで、グルマン香水に独自の解釈を与えているところに、Thomas De Monacoらしさを感じます。

ハートノートは私の肌の上で比較的長く続きます。初めは少し苦手だと感じていた香りなのに、時間が経つにつれて不思議と惹きつけられ、気がつけば何度も手首に鼻を近づけてしまいます。甘さだけでは説明できない奥行きと中毒性があり、嗅ぐたびにその魅力を再発見させてくれる香りです。

ラストノートも、ハートノートから大きく印象が変わるわけではありません。そこにサフラン、ホワイトムスク、アンバーの温かみのある香りが徐々に加わり、肌にやさしく馴染んでいきます。香り全体の個性を保ちながら、柔らかな温もりと落ち着きを感じさせる余韻へと移ろっていきます。
