THOUGHTS

Neo Eden was a very challenging fragrance for me, as my impression changed each time I wore it. At first, I struggled to understand its character and found it difficult to appreciate. However, with each wear and every time I revisited it on paper, I discovered something new, which made the fragrance increasingly intriguing.

The opening reveals a fruity accord of frozen peach and rhubarb. The peach truly feels chilled, almost icy, creating a distinctive and unusual introduction. On my skin, however, the magnolia was not particularly noticeable.

The most challenging part for me came after the top notes settled. On paper, a beautiful floral fragrance gradually emerges. Yet on my skin, which tends to run warm, a somewhat artificial, plastic-like nuance appears. When worn in hot weather, particularly in a climate like Bangkok, this synthetic impression becomes more noticeable. For those who find such nuances uncomfortable, Neo Eden may be a difficult fragrance to wear.

However, if this scent develops exactly as envisioned by perfumer Augustin Lemiere, then perhaps this unusual, slightly artificial quality represents the very idea of a garden beyond logic — the world of Neo Eden itself.
