THOUGHTS
Osmanthus Tea is a comforting fragrance that feels as though you are sipping a freshly brewed cup of osmanthus tea. Gentle and calming, it captures the simple pleasure of slowing down and enjoying a quiet moment.
The opening is centered around the beautiful aroma of osmanthus. Jasmine and apricot are present, but the true star of the composition is undoubtedly the osmanthus itself. On my skin, the fruity character of apricot remains subtle, while the floral facets of osmanthus take center stage. As the fragrance develops, jasmine gradually emerges, adding depth and elegance to the composition.
As it transitions into the heart, green tea begins to unfold. The combination of delicate florals and the soft, slightly bitter character of green tea creates a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere, reminiscent of drinking a real cup of osmanthus tea. On my skin, the green tea note becomes particularly prominent, revealing a distinctly powdery facet that I find especially enjoyable. The fragrance feels deeply Eastern in character, capturing the essence of tea culture as an integral part of everyday life in Asia.
In the drydown, musk and woods gently settle onto the skin, supporting the floral and tea notes while extending their presence. The base does not dramatically alter the fragrance but instead provides a soft, skin-like warmth that allows the earlier notes to linger gracefully.
The Hong Kong brand One Day also offers a fragrance called Osmanthus Tea, but the two interpretations are remarkably different. One Day’s version is noticeably fruitier and places greater emphasis on the aroma of tea leaves, whereas Floriography’s Osmanthus Tea focuses on the harmony between osmanthus and green tea, resulting in a calmer and more understated composition.
Floriography’s Osmanthus Tea is a serene and versatile unisex fragrance that can be enjoyed throughout the year. Quietly elegant and deeply comforting, it offers a peaceful moment of reflection amid the rush of everyday life.

Osmanthus Teaは、まるで淹れたてのオスマンサスティーを手にしているかのような、穏やかで心安らぐ香水です。華やかさを持ちながらも決して主張しすぎることはなく、ゆったりとした時間を過ごしたくなるような落ち着いた魅力があります。
トップノートでは、オスマンサスの優雅な香りが美しく広がります。そこにジャスミンとアプリコットが添えられていますが、主役はあくまでもオスマンサスです。私の肌ではアプリコットのフルーティーな側面はあまり前面に出ず、むしろオスマンサスの持つ繊細でフローラルな表情が際立って感じられました。時間の経過とともにジャスミンが顔を覗かせ、香りにさらなる奥行きを与えます。
ハートノートでは緑茶の香りが現れ、フローラルノートと溶け合っていきます。花々の柔らかな香りと緑茶の穏やかな渋みが重なることで、まるで本当にオスマンサスティーを飲んでいるかのような心地よさが生まれます。私の肌では特に緑茶の香りが強く現れ、そのパウダリーな側面が印象的でした。非常に東洋的な雰囲気を持ち、アジアの日常に根付くお茶文化を香りとして表現しているように感じます。
ラストノートでは、ムスクとウッドが肌に寄り添うように広がり、ハートノートまでの香りをやさしく支えながら余韻を残します。派手な変化を見せるわけではありませんが、その穏やかさがこの香水の大きな魅力です。
同じ香港ブランドであるOne Dayからも同名のOsmanthus Teaが発売されていますが、その印象は大きく異なります。One Day版はよりフルーティーで茶葉の存在感が強いのに対し、FloriographyのOsmanthus Teaはオスマンサスと緑茶の調和を重視した、より落ち着いた仕上がりです。
