CONCEPT

If you asked me to choose a favorite among Thai desserts, it would be a question I could never truly answer. I find myself drawn to almost all of them, each one offering its own quiet beauty, its own story told through taste, texture, and aroma.

Yet when I think of Thai desserts as a whole, what lingers most vividly is not a single flavor, but a feeling, their unmistakable lamoon, a refined, gentle softness that feels tender, delicate, and deeply comforting. It is a softness that reveals itself in many forms: in the creamy caress of coconut, in the airy tenderness of steamed flour, in the subtle, lingering sweetness, and in the fragrant warmth that softly unfolds with every bite.

Lamoon was created from this very impression,
a sensory memory translated into scent.

Drawing inspiration from cherished Thai desserts such as khanom thuai, salim, thong yod, khanom nam dok mai, and khanom bueang, each element contributes its own nuance: creamy, floral, syrupy, powdery, and lightly toasted. These facets are carefully composed together, not to replicate any single dessert, but to evoke the shared soul that binds them all.

The result is a fragrance that feels like a gentle indulgence,
soft yet radiant, sweet yet airy, intimate yet quietly expressive.

THOUGHTS

Lamoon is one of my favorite recent releases. It is a gentle sweet fragrance that can be enjoyed even by those who are not usually drawn to gourmand perfumes. Soft and comforting, it feels suitable for any season and naturally blends into everyday life.

The top notes are centered around pandan leaf, whose nutty, creamy green character carries an almost rice-like softness. Although the pandan note is quite prominent, it never feels overpowering thanks to its remarkably smooth and airy texture. Gradually, orange blossom and a watery floral accord emerge, adding a delicate floral transparency to the composition.

As the fragrance moves into the heart, an accord reminiscent of traditional Thai candles appears alongside the soft sweetness of palm sugar. The scent becomes sweeter at this stage, yet never excessively rich or heavy. Instead, it maintains a light and graceful gourmand quality. Jasmine and soft white florals—notes often associated with Thailand—also appear, though they remain in supporting roles, gently rounding out the composition rather than dominating it.

In the drydown, vanilla and coconut cream introduce a comforting sweetness reminiscent of breaking open a freshly baked cookie. On my skin, however, the scent of pandan leaf lingers beautifully until the very end, keeping the fragrance soft, green, and serene rather than overly sugary.

Lamoon beautifully balances gourmand sweetness with airy floral transparency. Gentle and comforting, it is a fragrance that quietly settles into daily life, offering a soft and soothing presence throughout the year.

Lamoonは、最近の新作の中でも特にお気に入りの一本です。甘さを持ちながらも重たさを感じさせず、グルマン系が得意ではない人でも楽しめる、やさしく穏やかな香りに仕上がっています。季節を問わず纏いやすく、日常に自然と溶け込むような心地よさがあります。

トップノートでは、パンダンリーフの香りが印象的に広がります。ナッティでクリーミーなグリーンのニュアンスに、どこかライスを思わせる柔らかな甘さが重なり、とてもユニークな香り立ちです。パンダンリーフは存在感がありながらも非常に柔らかく香るため、強さや鋭さは感じさせません。そこにオレンジブロッサムやウォーターフローラルアコードが徐々に加わり、透明感のあるフローラルな空気感を生み出します。

ハートノートに移ると、タイのキャンドルを思わせる温かみのある香りや、パームシュガーアコードのやさしい甘さが現れます。香りは少しずつグルマンらしさを帯びていきますが、決して過度に甘くなることはなく、軽やかで穏やかな甘さを保っています。タイでよく親しまれているジャスミンやホワイトフローラルの香りも加わりますが、主張しすぎることなく、全体をやわらかく支えるように香ります。

ラストでは、バニラやココナッツクリームによって、まるで焼きたてのクッキーを割った瞬間のような、やさしいグルマンの甘さが広がります。ただ、私の肌では最後までパンダンリーフの香りがしっかりと残り続けるため、全体としては甘すぎず、どこかグリーンで穏やかな印象にまとまっています。

Lamoonは、グルマンの甘さと透明感のあるフローラルが心地よく調和した香水です。やわらかく包み込むような優しさがあり、季節を問わず自然体で楽しめる一本です。
